Have you completed an apprenticeship as a specialist in metals technology, machining technology or as a machine and systems operator? Are you a cutting machine operator or do you have several years of professional experience in machining?
Your responsibilities:
- Operating state-of-the-art CNC short and long turning machines
- Changing tools
- Measuring tools
- Carrying out and documenting self-assessments
- Documenting measurement results
- Maintaining and fixing machines
Your requirements:
- A completed apprenticeship as a machine and plant operator or metal technology specialist, specializing in machining technology (Maschinen- und Anlagenführer/ Fachkraft für Metalltechnik, Fachrichtung Zerspanungstechnik), or several years of professional experience are an advantage
- Very good spatial imagination
- Reading of technical drawings
- Confident handling of measuring instruments
- Independent, organized work
- Ability to work in a team
- Willingness to work shifts/ set up a third shift

- Programming and setting up state-of-the-art CNC short and long turning machines
- Creating setup plans
- Monitoring production
- Guaranteeing manufacturing quality through visual, dimensional, shape and position inspections
- Optimising working procedures
- Reducing piece cycle times and machine downtimes
- Instructing machine operators
Your requirements:
- Specialist training as a cutting machine operator or several years of professional experience
- Technical understanding
- Spatial sense
- Reading technical drawings
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team
- Readiness for shift work
